Brief:
Deliver effective visualisation for a long standing client for two proposed community farms.
Solution:
Custom projects of this nature require a lot of strategic thinking upfront. As the nature of them is often quite fluid, extra thought needs to be given to the placement of various amenity objects. Fortunately this time around, we had more defined landscape plans to work with and could complete the imagery at a much more rapid pace.
The project itself is a community garden that involves a food production cube created by Biofilta to assist with growing fruits and vegetables. Over the last 5 or so years, we have built up a 3D models library of the cubes and all the various associated facilities from solar panels through to hothouses and thus could fill out the model pretty quickly.
Once we have the model built, the visuals are presented to the client in clay or white-card form to confirm most of the hardscape geometry. And only after that, we proceed to the rendering stage.
